Admin v2.5 — Smarter approvals, steadier calendars, hardware that just registers
August brought a reworked approval engine, Stripe Terminal reader management, form response analytics, and a wave of reliability fixes across calendars, bulk edits, and sync.
Highlights
- Facts-based approval workflows give space approvers control over exactly the spaces they own, with a one-click ‘approve all actionable’ action.
- Stripe Terminal reader management lands in Settings, letting admins register, locate, and manage physical card readers without touching the Stripe dashboard.
- Form response analytics let admins see answer distributions and stats across an event or series instantly, without exporting raw data.
New features
Approval Workflows v2
Space approvers can now approve or reject only the spaces they’re actually responsible for on multi-space events, so one person’s sign-off no longer accidentally activates spaces nobody else has reviewed. Approvers who are also the event creator are auto-approved for their own spaces, and a new ‘Approve All Actionable’ action lets an approver clear everything they’re entitled to in one click.
Discovery improvements for organizations
Search and discovery now respect subscription status, so schools can trust that discoverability reflects active accounts, and events/groups can now be found by searching for their organization’s name. Search results are also ranked by distance so nearby matches surface first.
Stripe Terminal reader registration
Admins can now register, view, and manage physical Stripe Terminal card readers directly from Settings → Terminals, including address verification, per-reader status, and a clear session-reader selection for sellers taking payments at the door.
Terminal locations and bulk reader registration
Admins can now register up to 25 card readers to a shared location in one action, and support is automatically notified whenever a new terminal location is created so hardware gets deployed correctly.
Per-space reservation forms
Organizations renting out spaces can now require different forms for different spaces at checkout — so booking an auditorium can ask different questions than booking a football field, with renters guided to complete every required form before their reservation is finalized.
Form submission aggregation dashboard
Admins can now view aggregated form responses for an event or its whole series — answer breakdowns for multiple-choice fields, averages for numeric fields, and clear empty/loading states — without exporting a spreadsheet.
Improvements
- Auth sessions now recover more gracefully from token refresh issues, with a clear ‘session expired, please sign in again’ state instead of silent failures.
- Space conflict checks now warn instead of silently reporting ’no conflicts’ when the check itself couldn’t be completed due to a network issue.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the Stripe-unconfigured state for payment terminals was being surfaced as a scary error instead of simply hiding unavailable features.
- Fixed bulk event updates so a network hiccup no longer fails all updates at once with no way to tell which changes saved.
- Fixed a runaway request loop when building an event series on a flaky connection that could prevent the series from ever saving.
- Fixed the Groups field overflowing into the Spaces field in quick edit.
- Fixed reservations being partially hidden behind other UI elements, requiring horizontal scrolling to view.
- Fixed the mobile calendar’s month/agenda navigation overlapping the Today button.
- Clarified the workflow for applying a ticket type to other events in a series from within an individual event.
- Fixed Google Calendar sync errors where same-day all-day events or zero-duration events would fail to sync and retry endlessly.
- Fixed cancelled events becoming permanently unable to re-sync with Google Calendar.
