Administrator Web App v2.4 Monthly release

Admin v2.4 — Smarter series tools, cleaner navigation, and rock-solid ticket capacity

This month brings safer event editing, a rebuilt navigation system, per-ticket-type limits, and a wave of fixes to series editing, ticketing accuracy, and capacity enforcement.

ticketing navigation forms groups capacity limits

Highlights

  • Per-ticket-type and per-registration-type limits let organizers cap individual ticket types (e.g. cap participant registrations separately from spectator tickets) instead of only an event-wide total.
  • Series ticketing is now far more reliable — applying ticket changes across series events no longer resets sold counts, breaks capacity enforcement, or auto-publishes unexpectedly.
  • Rebuilt navigation eliminates confusing back-button loops across events, registrations, and forms.

New features

Edit approved events with a re-approval warning

Event requestors can now keep editing an event after it’s approved, instead of needing an admin to make every change. If an edit would revert the event to pending approval and pull it off public calendars, a clear warning appears before saving so nothing changes unexpectedly.

Per-ticket-type and per-registration-type limits

Organizers can now set an optional capacity limit on individual ticket or registration types, on top of the overall event capacity. For example, a demolition derby can cap participant registrations at 50 and spectator tickets at 500 independently, so one type selling out never eats into another’s availability.

Group member management and invites

Admins can now manage private group membership directly — a combined Members view with admins and members, a pending invites tab, and an invite flow supporting manual entry, CSV upload, and QR/link sharing. Org members are added directly, while everyone else can be invited.

Faster series-wide form updates

Updating a form for one event in a series can now be applied to all other events in that series at once, with a heads-up whenever an event already has submissions against the form being changed.

Reserved seating support in the guest list

Guest lists for reserved-seating events now show each guest’s seat assignment and category, with search by seat, so front-of-house staff can find and check in seated guests just as easily as general admission.

Improvements

  • Rebuilt the in-app navigation system so moving between events, registrations, and forms feels consistent and the back button always returns you to the right place.
  • Registered participant and guest lists now show a clear totals line (registrations, active vs. refunded) instead of relying on row counts alone.
  • The ticket type editor now opens as a modal, matching the reserved seating experience.
  • Space availability scheduling now offers an in-modal choice between combining and overwriting overlapping schedules, with clearer confirmation flows and chronological sorting.
  • Seat map thumbnails in reserved seating and ticket type views now visually gray out unselected or disabled categories.
  • Upgraded the groups calendar to the newer calendar component, with shareable and subscribe links for group calendars.

Fixes

  • Fixed submitted registration forms incorrectly showing as “missing” on the participant roster after a series-wide ticket apply.
  • Fixed rental status notifications continuing to be sent daily even after a rental was cancelled.
  • Fixed a scroll interaction that could leave the page header stuck in a partially shrunk state.
  • Fixed series ticket applies rotating ticket-type IDs, which could reset sold counts and break per-type capacity limits — including the issue behind a temporary registration oversell.
  • Fixed approving events in a series unintentionally reverting already-cancelled events back to approved.
  • Fixed the calendar view resetting to today’s date after returning from an event detail page.
  • Fixed public calendar (.ics) feeds freezing due to a backend memory issue during the daily rebuild.
  • Fixed the Attendees tab silently bouncing back to Tickets on ticketing-enabled events with no ticket sales yet.
  • Fixed complimentary ticket issuance failing with a sold-out error even when comps should still be allowed.
  • Fixed comp ticket issuance not working for at least one active event.
  • Fixed inconsistent admin navigation permissions that either hid usable pages or showed pages users couldn’t access.
  • Fixed internal event notes failing to save for space admins and event requesters who don’t have org-wide event management permissions.
  • Fixed the “Access Code Required” badge not appearing on ticket types covered by a wildcard-scoped access code.
  • Fixed an unresponsive “Subscribe to Calendar” button on group pages.
  • Fixed seat release failing when releasing the very last held-back seat on an event.
  • Fixed the onboarding “Complete Setup” button staying inactive even after all steps were completed.
  • Fixed registration form submissions not appearing on the event roster due to a scope mismatch from a duplicate submission writer.
  • Fixed series ticket applies auto-publishing tickets to other events even when the source event hadn’t been published yet.
  • Fixed a bug where adding a second availability period to a single space incorrectly merged it into the first.
