Quick Start for Attendees

This guide covers everything you need to know as an event attendee on Vega.

Finding Events

Events on Vega can be found in a few ways:

• Direct link — An organizer shares a link to a specific event with you
• Community page — Organizations have branded pages listing all their upcoming events
• QR code — Scan a code from a flyer or poster that takes you directly to the event

Buying Tickets

Standard Checkout

1. Open the event page
2. Select the ticket type and quantity you want
3. Click Get Tickets
4. Sign in to your Vega account (or create one)
5. Complete the payment through our secure Stripe checkout
6. Your tickets will appear in your dashboard immediately

Guest Checkout

Don’t want to create an account? No problem:

1. Select your tickets on the event page
2. Choose Continue as Guest
3. Enter your name and email address
4. Complete payment
5. Your tickets and QR codes will be emailed to you

Access Codes

Some events require an access code to purchase certain ticket types. If you have a code:

1. Look for the Enter Access Code field on the event page
2. Enter your code to unlock restricted ticket types
3. Proceed with checkout as normal

Managing Your Tickets

Viewing Tickets & QR Codes

After purchasing, find your tickets in My Tickets on your dashboard:

• Each ticket includes a QR code for event entry
• Show the QR code on your phone at the door — no need to print anything
• You can access your tickets anytime, even offline (once loaded)

Transferring Tickets

Need to send a ticket to someone else?

1. Open the ticket you want to transfer from your dashboard
2. Tap Transfer Ticket
3. Enter the recipient’s email address
4. They’ll receive a link to accept the transfer

The recipient will need a Vega account to accept the transfer. Once accepted, the ticket moves to their dashboard and your access is removed.

Your Account

Profile

Manage your account details from the Profile page:

• Update your name, email, and phone number
• Change your profile photo
• Manage notification preferences

Dashboard

Your dashboard is your home base:

• View all upcoming events you have tickets for
• Access past event tickets
• See any pending ticket transfers
