Custom Forms
Build Vega checkout and registration forms: custom fields, waivers, sizes, allergies, and other data you need before event day.
Custom Forms let you collect additional information from attendees during registration or checkout. Whether you need dietary preferences, T-shirt sizes, or company names, Vega’s form builder makes it straightforward.
Accessing the Form Builder
- Open your event and go to the Forms tab.
- Select an existing form to edit or click Create Form.

Building a Form
- Click Add Field to insert a new question.
- Choose the field type and configure:
- Label – the question text shown to attendees
- Required – whether the field must be completed
- Help text – optional guidance displayed below the field
- Conditional logic – show or hide the field based on answers to other questions
- Drag fields to reorder them.
- Click Save when finished.
Assigning Forms to Ticket Types
You can assign different forms to different ticket types. For example, VIP attendees might answer additional questions that general admission attendees do not see.
- Go to the Tickets tab and edit a ticket type.
- Under Registration Form, select the form to attach.
Viewing Responses
All form responses are available in the Attendees section and can be exported as CSV for further analysis.
Tips
- Only ask for information you will actually use – shorter forms improve completion rates.
- Use conditional logic to keep the form concise while still capturing details from specific attendee segments.
- Test your form by going through the checkout flow yourself before publishing the event.
